I liked the way article describes software development as a fun process. When you are building software you are not an engineer, neither you are a gardener and you don't have to worry much about "sacrificing quality" since you are not building a bridge which when badly build could cause physical damages.
Also, this line is good - If you spent (more attention) as long as bridge engineers spend writing your web application, it will probably be very stable (but of course you will be the last one to the market).
